So last time I posted I wrote about the split priorities of my competing projects.
I referenced to my focus on finishing tasks, my agile design process and the challenge of sticking to my plans for the month. I am happy to report that I have actually:
- finished my Lichen Mists – a week late but it is finished
- finished (they need blocking and buttons but the knitting is done) the two baby cardigans, and
- started – and most importantly finished – some gorgeous Bronte mitts in Alpaca Silk for my Grandma’s 95th birthday
On the less encouraging side – I bought more yarn than I needed at Unwind (no surprises there) proved that I was still capable of spinning even after a 35 year break, started on the squares for a crochet blanket I decided I had to have and … dreamed up another new pattern. While still having four more of my focus on finish projects to go.
And as I haven’t posted it yet – my other achievement was this shawlette for Gail (which I am contemplating knitting for myself in one of my Unwind purchases)
The pattern is Afternoon Tea from Knitty and the yarn was a merino silk blend from stash.
